Surprised.

Pleasantly surprised! This describes my reaction to how Gabby calmly sat on Santa's lap this year. I was expecting screaming, crying, reaching out for mommy or daddy, etc. But Gabby was excited when I asked if she wanted to see Santa, amazed while we were waiting in line and in awe while she was sitting in his lap. Okay...maybe not in awe, but she sure was trying to figure him out! It actually looks a lot like last year's picture!!

Thanks for checking in! I know I've been a horrible blogger lately. I'll try to do better.

A Ladybug and her Loot!

Okay, so I didn't officially take these pictures on Halloween. Gabby did not want to cooperate before or ON Halloween. So I put her in her costume ONE more time in an attempt to get some decent pictures. I got some I'm happy with!

Here's Gabby in her Bama outfit last Saturday. (You can't really tell) After today's win against Arkansas I decided it was time to post. ROLL TIDE!

"New" Shoes

Gabby found herself some new shoes today when we changed out of our church clothes. With a little help from Daddy she was on her way to walking in them! Not exactly the right shoes for the outfit, but she didn't mind!

Puppy Love

Gabby adores Sterling. He normally wants nothing to do with her. He is beginning to play with her more as she gets older, especially now that she can chase him. Her favorite word of the last several days is "goggy." She looks outside, and when she sees Sterling she screeches "GOGGY!" with pure excitement. I got these photos of Gabby and her goggy Sterling one day last week. (Oh, and the pigtails...they only lasted 10 minutes!)

The Wonders of the Ocean....Indoors!

Gabby and I met up with some of my friends in Atlanta for the weekend. On Saturday we visited the Georgia Aquarium in Downtown ATL. Before we made it there we stopped at the Varsity for lunch. Check out Gabby & her buddy Lily in their hats! The Aquarium wasn't what I expected from all the hype the media gave it. It was a let down from my expectations. It was also very crowded since we were there on a Saturday in the middle of summer. We still enjoyed it though! Look at the wonder on Gabby's face...I love watching her discover things! Girls (& guys), we had a great time and look forward to seeing all of you again soon!
